Sexualidad v4.0: Apuntes y reflexiones es un recorrido que te pone a mirar la sexualidad no como «un tema de cama», sino como algo que atraviesa la vida diaria: cómo nos educaron, qué nos da vergüenza, qué deseamos, qué creemos «normal», qué se permite mostrar y qué se castiga, tanto en la calle como en la pantalla. El libro propone una idea muy clara y cercana: la sexualidad funciona como un dispositivo móvil o «teléfono celular». Puede conectarte, darte información, acompañarte, pero también puede vigilarte, compararte, meterte prisa, venderte ideales y hacerte sentir que «debes» vivirla de cierta manera.A partir de esa metáfora, la obra cuenta la historia de la sexualidad como si fueran actualizaciones. En la v1.0, lo principal era sobrevivir:reproducirse, mantener el grupo, seguir tradiciones y reglas que marcaban lo «correcto». En la v2.0, aparece con fuerza la ciencia y cambia el foco: el placer y el cuerpo se vuelven tema de curiosidad, estudio y también de control; se abren libertades, pero al mismo tiempo el deseo empieza a medirse con normas nuevas y expectativas «modernas».La v3.0 es la más reconocible: vivimos entre redes, entretenimiento y discursos de derechos. La intimidad se vuelve visible, el cuerpo se convierte en imagen, la validación se mide en reacciones, y las apps (incluidas las de citas) moldean cómo nos conocemos, ligamos y nos contamos a nosotros mismos. En ese escenario, el libro insiste en algo importante: hay avances, sí, pero no para todas las personas por igual.Finalmente, la v4.0 abre la pregunta incómoda: ¿qué pasa cuando el deseo también se vuelve dato y las tecnologías empiezan a «leer» emociones, simular cariño o influir en lo que nos atrae? El texto dibuja posibilidades luminosas (educación, acompañamiento, vínculos más cuidados) y también riesgos (control emocional, mercantilización del amor, desigualdad más dura).El cierre no da sermones: propone pensar la sexualidad como un bien compartido, donde el respeto, la ternura, el consentimiento y la empatía importan tanto como la información. Y deja una imagen potente: quizá hoy necesitamos, a veces, un «modo avión» para escucharnos y volver a sentir sin tanta presión externa.
