Dieses Buch geht der Frage nach, wie die Rolle der Schulbegleitung in der inklusiven Schule unter den derzeitigen Rahmenbedingungen ihres Einsatzes gestaltet werden kann. Die Schulbegleitung (auch bekannt als Integrationshilfe oder Schulassistenz) befindet sich in einem komplexen Geflecht aus einer Vielzahl von Akteuren mit unterschiedlichen und zum Teil höchst widersprüchlichen Erwartungen, Wünschen und Anforderungen. Dies führt sie in ein Rollenprekariat, das unter den derzeitigen Bedingungen nicht zufriedenstellend gelöst werden kann. Die Einflussfaktoren auf dieses Rollenprekariat werden zunächst auf theoretischer Grundlage sowie mit Bezug auf nationale und internationale Forschungsliteratur erarbeitet. Empirisch nimmt Anika Lübeck das Rollenprekariat mittels objektiv-hermeneutischer Rekonstruktionen von Interviews mit einer Lehrerin und einem Schulbegleiter in den Blick und fragt kritisch-konstruktiv nach Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten.
