Dieses Buch fasst aktuelle empirische Forschungsergebnisse zu Modalitäten des korrigierenden Feedbacks (CF) beim Schreiben in einer Zweitsprache (L2) zusammen und stützt sich dabei auf Studien aus den Jahren 2018 und 2019. Die untersuchten Studien nutzen verschiedene Forschungsdesigns - Prätest-, Posttest- und verzögerte Posttest-Experimente, qualitative Fallstudien und bibliografische Übersichten -, um die Auswirkungen verschiedener CF-Ansätze zu untersuchen, darunter direktes versus indirektes Feedback, fokussierte versus unfokussierte Strategien und kollaborative versus individuelle Überarbeitungspraktiken. Die Ergebnisse deuten darauf hin, dass direktes CF zwar tendenziell zu schnellen Verbesserungen der grammatikalischen Genauigkeit führt, indirekte und metasprachliche Feedbackmethoden jedoch ein tieferes kognitives Engagement und eine längerfristige Beibehaltung fördern können. Kollaborative und gestützte Ansätze verbessern die Überarbeitungsqualität und die Motivation der Lernenden zusätzlich. Diese Synthese erörtert die Auswirkungen dieser Erkenntnisse auf die L2-Schreibpädagogik und schlägt Ansätze für zukünftige Forschung zur Entwicklung adaptiver, schülerzentrierter CF-Modelle vor.
