La première version de ce travail, publiée en 2003, est apparue dans un modeste article d’un magazine électronique de l’époque. Vingt ans ont passé depuis, et nous sommes aujourd’hui au milieu de l’année 2022. L’auteur n’aurait jamais pu imaginer le nombre infini de messages envoyés par des personnes intéressées par un sujet aussi spécialisé, malgré la complexité d’une étude critique, centrée sur la polysémie cachée dans le simple mot Paradigme. Ce terme se retrouve aujourd’hui dans des centaines de textes scientifiques, dans des articles aux contextes les plus variés et même dans une simple conversation de tous les jours. En général, son utilisation actuelle provient du sens qui a été généralisé à partir de l’ouvrage de Kuhn,'La structure des révolutions scientifiques', et c’est dans cette optique que nous présentons aujourd’hui une nouvelle version de ' Savez-vous vraiment ce qu’est un paradigme ? Dans cette perspective, nous présentons aujourd’hui une nouvelle version de Do you really know what a paradigm is, qui élargit mais ne change pas l’objectif de mettre en évidence les problèmes polysémiques qui sont de plus en plus présents dans certaines sciences contemporaines.
