O objetivo deste estudo foi examinar a satisfação dos alunos em relação a um curso de administração de empresas oferecido em formato de ensino à distância no departamento de administração de empresas de uma faculdade técnica comunitária. Foram enviados 75 questionários pré-teste e pós-teste por correio aos inquiridos da amostra aleatória, 35 (19 pré-teste e 16 pós-teste) foram devolvidos dentro dos prazos, o que corresponde a uma taxa de resposta de 50% para o pré-teste e 45% para o pós-teste. Antes do início da análise, todas as perguntas foram agrupadas numa escala ordinal para análise de dados. Cada hipótese foi abordada separadamente. As perguntas foram agrupadas usando uma tabela de respostas organizada pelas seguintes categorias: design do curso, ambiente físico de aprendizagem, interação aluno/professor, satisfação geral com o curso e suporte tecnológico. Foi fornecida uma breve análise discutindo o nível de suporte para as hipóteses. Além disso, o nível de significância foi calculado para comparação de ambos os testes e valor p. Foi feita uma análise de confiabilidade para cada uma das categorias de satisfação e, em seguida, para todas as perguntas de satisfação.
