Celem niniejszego badania było zbadanie związku między środowiskiem fizycznym szkoły a postawą nauczycieli do pracy w południowej części obszaru samorządowego Calabar w stanie Cross River w Nigerii. Aby osiągnąć ten cel, sformułowano cztery (4) hipotezy zerowe. Przegląd literatury przeprowadzono zgodnie z hipotezami kierującymi badaniem. Do badania przyjęto model badania ankietowego. Do badania wybrano losowo sto osiem (108) respondentów. Wybór dokonano za pomocą prostej losowej techniki doboru warstwowego. Głównym narzędziem badania był kwestionariusz „Środowisko fizyczne szkoły i stosunek nauczycieli do pracy' (SPETAWQ), opracowany i zatwierdzony przez kierownika projektu. Kwestionariusz ten wypełniono wśród stu ośmiu (108) nauczycieli, którzy stanowili próbę badawczą. Uzyskane dane zostały poddane analizie statystycznej przy użyciu analizy korelacji momentów Pearsona. Do testowania statystycznego każdej z hipotez przy użyciu wartości krytycznych i stopni swobody zastosowano poziom istotności 0,05.
