Questo studio esamina il panorama in evoluzione del giornalismo digitale all’intersezione tra intelligenza artificiale (AI), rappresentazione di genere e strategie mediatiche. I contenuti generati dall’intelligenza artificiale diventano parte integrante delle redazioni digitali e modificano il modo in cui le informazioni vengono prodotte, distribuite e consumate. Tuttavia, questo cambiamento tecnologico solleva importanti questioni sulle dinamiche di genere all’interno degli spazi mediatici, in particolare per quanto riguarda il ruolo del genere nella creazione di contenuti, nel coinvolgimento del pubblico e nella rappresentazione di questioni sociali. Applicando un quadro di riferimento orientato al genere e conducendo un’analisi comparativa dei contenuti, questa ricerca indaga su come il giornalismo guidato dall’IA interagisce con la rappresentazione di genere nei media digitali. Un set di dati di 1.086 pubblicazioni di cinque piattaforme digitali leader a livello mondiale - Business Insider, Huffington Post, TMZ, Gizmodo e Mashable - viene analizzato per esplorare le variazioni nelle strategie di contenuto, nel framing del messaggio e nell’influenza dell’integrazione dell’IA sui processi tradizionali di creazione delle notizie.
