Il riconoscimento delle espressioni facciali ha suscitato grande attenzione negli ultimi anni per il suo impatto sulla pratica clinica , sulla robotica sociale e sull’istruzione. Abbiamo presentato un modello di rete neurale convoluzionale per il riconoscimento delle espressioni facciali degli studenti . Il modello proposto comprende 4 strati convoluzionali, 4 strati di max-pooling e 2 strati completamente connessi. Ilsistema riconosce i volti dalle immagini di input degli studenti utilizzando un rilevatore Haar-like e li classifica in sette espressioni facciali: sorpresa, paura, disgusto, tristezza, felicità, rabbia e neutro.
