Data la rilevanza dell’identificazione di questo momento storico e della sua influenza sull’istruzione e sulla ricerca educativa, l’analisi viene approfondita sulla base degli articoli pubblicati nelle riviste Revista Brasileira de Estudos Pedagógicos (RBEP), legata all’Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (INEP), e Cadernos de Pesquisa (CP), pubblicata dalla Fundação Carlos Chagas (FCC). Questa indagine sulla ricerca educativa in Brasile e sul suo finanziamento ha avuto luogo alla fine della dittatura civile-militare e all’inizio del processo di ri-democratizzazione del Paese. L’obiettivo di questo studio è identificare e analizzare il dibattito tra i ricercatori sul finanziamento della ricerca educativa nel periodo citato, considerando che la rivista specializzata contribuisce allo studio di questo settore.
