Responsive Forschung erhebt von jeher den Anspruch in einem wechselseitigen Austausch von Wissenschaft und Praxis zu neuen Erkenntnissen zu gelangen. Während der Bereich der Aktions- und Interventionsforschung hierzu bereits Ansätze und methodische Überlegungen hervorgebracht hat, bleiben gerade die damit verbundenen methodologischen Herausforderungen jedoch oftmals unterbelichtet. In der hier präsentierten responsiven Organisationsforschung geraten Erkenntnislogiken von Organisationen und Organisationsforschung in den Fokus und können somit erweitert werden. Hierzu hat sich die Differenzierung zwischen (pädagogischen) Organisationen als Handlungssystemen und Institutionen als Rahmungen und Regelungen dieser Handlungen als zentral herausgestellt. In diesem Band sind Vertreter_innen unterschiedlicher Disziplinen (Erziehungs- und Organisationswissenschaft, Theater- und Gesundheitswissenschaft, Psychologie und Ethnologie) dem Responsiven auf der Spur.
