Inhaltsangabe:Einleitung: Die jetzige Situation zeigt, daß ein genauer Lagerbestand der vorhandenen Teile und Erzeugnisse über das vorhandene Lagerbestandsführungssystem (Karteikarten), erst durch eine körperliche Bestandsaufnahme im Lager ermittelt werden kann. Um annähernd verläßliche Bestandsdaten vorliegen zu haben, muß in der Regel halbjährlich eine Inventur durchgeführt werden. Das Problem der nicht verläßlichen Bestandsdaten wirkt sich auch bei Kundenanfragen bzgl. des Liefertermins aus - ein eventueller Verlust eines Auftrages durch verzögerte Beantwortung einer Kundenanfrage kann die Folge sein. Um dem Kunden aber verläßliche Liefertermine mitteilen zu können, müssen Informationen, wie - vorhandene Fertigungskapazitäten. - Lagerbestände aller Erzeugnisse und Teile. - Fertigungszustand der am Lager befindlichen Erzeugnisse den entsprechenden Mitarbeitern. nach Möglichkeit schon während des Kundengespräches, zur Verfügung stehen. Weiter läßt sich z. Zt. eine genaue betriebliche Leistungsermittlung nur nach den halbjährlich erfolgten Inventuren durchführen, da hierfür u.a. die Bestandsveränderungen notwendig sind.
