Kontekst historyczny obejmuje biologiczne, psychologiczne, społeczne i duchowe nadużycia związane z ekspozycją na satanizm i zorganizowaną kontrolę umysłu we wczesnym dzieciństwie oraz traumatyczne skutki, jakie z tego wynikły. Relacja zbudowana wspólnie przez nas dwoje była kluczowa w procesie uzdrawiania. Odkryliśmy, że gdy niektóre granice ulegały przesunięciu, inne pozostawały zakotwiczone w ustalonych godzinach w moim gabinecie przez osiem lat. Większa ważność przypisywana badaniom jakościowym umożliwiła zbadanie tej relacji terapeutycznej i skutków przesunięcia granic na terapię i podróż w kierunku uzdrowienia. Wiele zakłóceń miało swoje źródło poza kontekstem terapeutycznym i wymagały one zarządzania, aby sprawować pewną kontrolę nad zakłóceniami, tak aby terapia i nasze codzienne życie mogły być kontynuowane.
