In Santa Maria - RS/Brazil, a new technology park is being built. It is therefore necessary for society to turn its attention to the success of this venture, making efforts to contribute to its success. In view of this, the problem of this research is to investigate how the dynamics of the local and regional market in Santa Maria can influence the performance of technology-based companies set up in this enterprise.
