A quiet home nestled in the south where everythinghas its place, but the truth is more fragile and the buried past bubbles to thesurface. shockingly and suddenly the past is no longer just that, the past, itis now the present.Discovering a letter behind a falling antique picture frame for noapparent reason, shook MacKenzie’s foundation to the core of her being andin that moment of a shockingly realization that time does not heal wounds, only the truth does. What follows is a journey of a story of the kindred spirits they werethat embraced their hearts and souls, and a forgotten promise she made toOliver all in the name of something called love.Author, LJ Henley delivers a stirring, psychologically rich explorationof identity, longing and emotional reckoning. With lyrical, pros and fearlesshonesty, reflections of a promise captures what it means to carry the weightof the past while chasing the whisper of a life, not yet lived. An intimateportrait of what it means to lose yourself slowly and the courage it takes toremember who you were before the world got loud.
