This volume is the third of a three (3) volume series of four (4) original handwritten record books of the furniture and undertaking companies of I. G. Davis & Co. and Davis and Sloane Co., Inc., that were located in Pendleton, Madison County, Indiana. For convenience, each of the four (4) original record books are arbitrarily identified in this volume series as Books 1, 2, 3, and 4. Books 3 and 4, which are the subject of this third volume, collectively comprise 503 pages of business transactions from May 1, 1930 through October 20, 1934. Book 3 transactions are dated from May 1, 1930 through March 18, 1932, and Book 4 transactions are dated from January 1, 1930 through October 20, 1934. The transactions of Books 3 and 4 include: names, dates, items purchased, payment amounts, and funeral related expenses.
