Cette étude porte sur la formation continue en éducation physique en utilisant comme source les récits (auto)biographiques de 14 professeurs d’éducation physique qui travaillent dans l’enseignement de base dans trois municipalités du Grand Vitória/ES. Il s’agit d’une étude de récits (auto)biographiques utilisant comme sources des questionnaires, des groupes de discussion, des entretiens, des cercles de conversation et des observations participantes consignées dans un journal de terrain. L’étude est structurée en trois chapitres liés entre eux. Dans le premier, nous analysons les significations que les enseignants attribuent à la formation continue. Le deuxième chapitre analyse la consommation productive que les enseignants produisent dans et à partir des contextes de formation. Dans le but de rapprocher l’université de l’éducation de base et de signaler les possibilités de politiques en la matière, nous analysons dans le troisième chapitre la formation réalisée au Centre d’éducation physique (CEFD) de l’Université fédérale d’Espírito Santo.
