Der Myokardinfarkt stellt einen wichtigen diagnostischen und therapeutischen Notfall dar. Es handelt sich um eine Krankheit, die immer häufiger auftritt, und das Rauchen wird als einer der Hauptursachen angeführt. Ziel dieser Arbeit war es daher, das akute Koronarsyndrom bei Rauchern und Nichtrauchern aus klinischer und therapeutischer Sicht zu vergleichen, die Merkmale des Rauchens zu beschreiben und die Ergebnisse einer Entwöhnungsstrategie darzustellen.Es stellte sich heraus, dass frühere Entwöhnungsversuche und ein spätes Einstiegsalter als Prädiktoren für einen effektiven Rauchstopp gelten.
