Raised by the Mafia is the story of an orphan who is being raised in a children’s home in Ohio. One day, he discovers that his father was a made man in the Mafia and his life changes forever. Before a boxing match, the author meets Mr. Gambani, who was the godfather of the Mafia families at the time. He realizes who the kid’s father is and decides to take him under the wing of 'the family.' From that point on, his life and career are guided by the Mafia. From being a teenage boxing champion, to becoming a teen singing idol, TV and movie star to being the biggest star in show business, his success is planned and paid for by 'the family.' Along the way his involvement with the Mafia and his love life becomes the stuff of legends. He worked with some of the biggest names of the day, Sal Mineo and Wayne Newton, appeared on American Bandstand with Dick Clark, and The Ed Sullivan Show. He had it all, the girls, the cars, everything that comes with stardom, but in order to save his best friend’s life, all of it must come to an end!
