Este livro analisa as implicações das parcerias público-privadas (PPPs) nos mecanismos de partilha de benefícios e salvaguardas sociais do REDD+ a nível nacional, subnacional e local na Indonésia. Usando uma estrutura estabelecida por Lukes (2005) para explorar questões de poder na relação entre os atores em todos os níveis, o estudo questiona como essas parcerias podem afetar os mecanismos de repartição de benefícios e as salvaguardas sociais no REDD+. No nível subnacional e local, este estudo integrou três teorias: poder (Lukes 2005), direitos de propriedade (Schlager e Ostrom 1992) e acesso (Ribot e Peluso 2003).
