Es wurde eine einfache, empfindliche und kostengünstige Methode entwickelt, bei der Matrix-Festphasendispersion (MSPD) zusammen mit einer hochleistungsfähigen Flüssigkeitschromatographie-Methode zur Bestimmung von Strobilurin-Fungizidrückständen (Azoxystrobin, Picoxystrobin, Pyraclostrobin und Trifloxystrobin) in Tomaten verwendet wird. Zu den ausgewerteten Parametern gehörten die Art und Menge des Sorptionsmittels (Silicagel, C18 und Florisil) und die Art des Elutionsmittels (Ethylacetat, Dichlormethan und Acetonitril). Die besten Ergebnisse wurden mit 1,0 g Tomatenprobe, 1,0 g C18 als Sorbens und 20 ml Ethylacetat-Dichlormethan (1:1, (v/v)) erzielt. Die Methode wurde anhand von Tomatenproben validiert, die mit Fungiziden in unterschiedlichen Konzentrationen (0,05 und 0,5 µg/ml) versetzt wurden. Die durchschnittliche Wiederfindung (mit jeder Konzentration in sechs Wiederholungen) lag zwischen 90 und 97 %, mit relativen Standardabweichungen von weniger als 3 %. Die Konzentration der Kalibrierlösungen lag im Bereich von 0,01 bis 2,0 mg/l und die Nachweisgrenze (LOD) und die Bestimmungsgrenze (LOQ) lagen bei 0,01 mg/l bzw. 0,05 mg/l.
