Poziom zanieczyszczenia powietrza wzrastał wraz ze zmiennością opadów deszczu. Zanieczyszczenia powietrza przemieszczały się do innych obszarów z powodu wiatru i bryzy morskiej. Głównym emitentem zanieczyszczeń powietrza był ruch drogowy i pojazdy. Było to wyraźnie widoczne w miesięcznej zmienności rozkładu zanieczyszczeń.
