Ce livre traite de la synthèse du copolymère poly(styrène-anhydride maléique) modifié (SMA-1) et de ses nanocomposites avec différents pourcentages de poids de NPs Ag/Au. Les effets de l’incorporation de NPs Ag/Au sur le SMA-1 ont été étudiés à l’aide de données spectrales et thermiques. Les études de balayage Z à ouverture ouverte ont révélé que le coefficient d’absorption de deux photons (β) du SMA-1 était amélioré par l’ajout de NPs métalliques. Les nanocomposites polymères ayant de faibles valeurs de seuil de limitation optique pourraient être utilisés pour la fabrication de dispositifs optiques non linéaires avec de bonnes propriétés de limitation optique. Les études de cicatrisation des plaies ont indiqué une augmentation de la migration et de la prolifération des cellules 3T3 du fibroblaste.
