Niniejsze badanie zostało zaprojektowane, aby pomóc dyrektorom i moderatorom programów szkoleniowych dla rodziców (przy użyciu pomiarów) w identyfikacji potencjalnych osób rezygnujących z PTP oraz w opracowaniu inicjatyw, dzięki którym pozostaną oni w programie szkoleniowym. Podręcznik jest integralnym elementem, ponieważ generuje informacje o rodzicach, których postrzeganie barier szkoleniowych utrudnia im dalszy udział w programie.
