Celem niniejszego badania jest opracowanie zestawu działań, które przyczynią się do zachęcenia dziewcząt z klas trzecich do gry w szachy w szkole podstawowej Gualberto Galván Cervantes w gminie Carlos Manuel de Céspedes. Ramy teoretyczne pracy zostały oparte na obszernym przeglądzie bibliograficznym, w którym zastosowano teoretyczne metody analizy i syntezy, historyczno-logiczne i indukcyjno-dedukcyjne. Diagnoza cech praktyki szachowej wśród dziewcząt została przeprowadzona poprzez zastosowanie metod empirycznych, takich jak obserwacja, wywiad i ankieta. Rekrutacja i utrzymanie dziewcząt w nauce szachów jest stałym zmartwieniem nauczycieli tego sportu, ponieważ jest bardzo słaba w porównaniu z osobami płci przeciwnej, sytuacja obecna w każdej szkole, ośrodkach nauczania sportu, akademiach, szkołach talentów, co ma negatywne reperkusje dla jakości sportowców, jeśli chodzi o tworzenie zespołów w celu konfrontacji konkurencyjnych.
