Prokrastination, das bewusste Aufschieben wichtiger Aufgaben trotz negativer Konsequenzen, ist ein weit verbreitetes Phänomen. In dieser Arbeit wird untersucht, wie stark sich die Neigung zum Aufschieben in verschiedenen soziodemografischen Gruppen der deutschen Bevölkerung zeigt und welche individuellen Merkmale damit zusammenhängen. Auf Grundlage der Temporalen Motivationstheorie werden Zusammenhänge zwischen Geschlecht, Alter, Bildungsstand, Familienstand, Erwerbsstatus und der Prokrastinationsneigung analysiert.
