Il Disturbo dello Spettro Autistico (ASD) è una patologia che presenta disturbi nello sviluppo neurologico, con le principali caratteristiche anormali che sono una comunicazione sociale compromessa e comportamenti fissi o ripetitivi, che di solito colpiscono i bambini entro i due anni di età. Alla luce di queste caratteristiche, questo progetto si propone di contribuire, dal punto di vista della geografia sanitaria, alla discussione sull’inclusione scolastica e sulla produzione di posti per bambini con ASD nelle scuole comunali di Presidente Prudente - SP. Dal punto di vista dell’iniziazione scientifica, è essenziale formare gli studenti di geografia interessati all’argomento, che comporta una comprensione interdisciplinare.
