Uma percentagem crescente da comunicação humana foi digitalizada; consequentemente, o ambiente familiar foi modificado por estas tecnologias. Este livro contém a investigação prévia ao capítulo piloto de uma websérie, que levanta questões sobre as experiências dos pais, cuidadores e filhos com as TIC em casa e os espaços derivados da convivência familiar. Para isso, foram abordadas questões relacionadas com a mediatização, a sociedade da informação e a mediação parental, como instâncias em que é possível refletir sobre a forma como as crianças participam no contexto levantado; e a incidência destes três eixos no contexto familiar.
