Nas últimas quatro décadas, o desenvolvimento da indústria microeletrónica tem marcado a tendência para a produção de materiais ultrafinos (com microestrutura nanométrica) e ultrapuros (sem impurezas ou defeitos) que garantam um aumento da eficiência funcional das suas peças com o menor volume possível. O objetivo geral deste trabalho foi sintetizar (deposição e recozimento) filmes ferroeléctricos de Titanato de Chumbo (PT) depositados sobre substrato Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si . O método utilizado foi o CVD-AA devido aos factores acima mencionados. Em geral, neste tipo de filmes, o recozimento é um passo necessário para obter a fase Perovskite (ferroeléctrica) desejada. O trabalho inclui a respectiva análise termo-gravimétrica, e a sua caraterização cristalográfica e microestrutural. Entre os resultados obtidos podemos referir que os filmes apresentaram uma boa homogeneidade química e estrutural a nível micrométrico, as fases presentes nos filmes corresponderam às desejadas, onde se observaram os domínios ferroeléctricos.
