Uno studio descrittivo è stato condotto dal 2 novembre 2014 al 22 marzo 2015. Lo studio mira a valutare i problemi psicosociali delle coppie infertili nella città di AL - Hilla, nel governatorato di Babilonia - Iraq. Un campione mirato (non probabilistico) di (50) coppie infertili ((50) mogli infertili e gli altri (50) mariti infertili) è stato selezionato dal centro di infertilità del governatorato di Babilonia. Il questionario comprende due parti: la prima per valutare le caratteristiche demografiche del campione; e due domini problemi psicologici e problemi sociali che includono ansia, depressione, autostima e problemi sociali. È stato adottato e sviluppato un questionario secondo la scala Taylor per l’ansia, la scala Beck per la depressione, la scala Rosenberg per l’autostima (RSES) ed è stato costruito un questionario sui problemi sociali.
