Foi realizado um estudo descritivo de 2 de novembro de 2014 a 22 de março de 2015. O estudo tem como objetivo avaliar os problemas psicossociais dos casais inférteis na cidade de AL - Hilla, província de Babylon - Iraque. Foi selecionada uma amostra intencional (não probabilística) de (50) casais inférteis ((50) mulheres inférteis e os outros (50) maridos inférteis) do centro de infertilidade na província de Babylon. O questionário inclui duas partes: a primeira para avaliar as caraterísticas demográficas da amostra; e a segunda para avaliar os problemas psicológicos e sociais, que incluem ansiedade, depressão, autoestima e problemas sociais. Foi adotado e desenvolvido um questionário de acordo com a escala de Taylor para a ansiedade, a escala de Beck para a depressão, a escala de autoestima de Rosenberg (RSES) e foi construído um questionário de problemas sociais.
