Este livro teve como objetivo identificar os problemas de deterioração, as necessidades de reparação e conservação dos andesitos nas muralhas do Castelo de Ancara. As formas de deterioração das paredes foram documentadas por exame visual. As amostras retiradas da superfície dos andesitos deteriorados foram examinadas quanto às suas propriedades físicas, mecânicas, de composição e minerológicas básicas. Todos os estudos experimentais foram avaliados e as pistas e conselhos de conservação foram dados no último capítulo. Este livro é muito útil para os cientistas que trabalham com andesitos e mármores nas paredes históricas.
