He also served as general manager of operations for one of the largest construction companies globally and owned a multi-million-dollar construction business. He has successfully completed some of the most significant and complex government contracts ever conceived, both domestically and internationally. Uhlig is now the owner of Federal Construction Consultants, specializing in guiding firms on entering and succeeding in federal construction. He also speaks at various events nationwide and has been a registered provider for the American Institute of Architects and a past post president of the Society of American Military Engineers.
