Dans ce livre, le travail est une combinaison de mécanique et de fabrication et d’informatique et de mise en réseau. Ces deux éléments sont combinés et un travail hybride est effectué à l’aide d’un réseau neuronal artificiel (RNA) dans MATLAB. Le réseau neuronal artificiel est un outil qui imite le cerveau humain. Les réseaux neuronaux artificiels sont des modèles électroniques relativement rudimentaires basés sur la structure neuronale du cerveau. Le cerveau apprend essentiellement par l’expérience. L’élément de traitement fondamental d’un réseau neuronal est un neurone. Cet élément constitutif de la conscience humaine englobe quelques capacités générales. Fondamentalement, un neurone biologique reçoit des entrées provenant d’autres sources, les combine d’une manière ou d’une autre, effectue une opération généralement non linéaire sur le résultat, puis produit le résultat final.
