Dans cet ouvrage, un modèle numérique a été développé afin de prédire les performances thermiques transitoires du système EATHE à l’aide d’un outil de simulation CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) et du logiciel Eureqa Formulize développé par Nutonian. Les résultats des simulations CFD ont été utilisés comme données d’entrée pour Eureqa Formulize. Le modèle numérique développé peut être utilisé pour prédire les performances thermiques d’un système EATHE fonctionnant dans des conditions transitoires (4 h à 16 h) pour des diamètres de tuyaux compris entre 0,1 et 0,2 m et des vitesses d’air variant entre 1 et 7 m/s. La corrélation développée montre une bonne concordance avec les données simulées pour un sol ayant une diffusivité thermique comprise entre 1,37 × 10-7m2/s et 5,5 ×10 -7m2/s.
