Cette étude a permis de découvrir que les médias, en particulier la presse, couvrent la guerre contre le terrorisme différemment des autres périodes de guerre, de conflit ou de crise.L’ouvrage couvre trois aspects avec un angle large, à savoir la politique étrangère de la presse et la guerre contre le terrorisme, afin de déterminer la couverture et la représentation comparées de la guerre contre le terrorisme au Pakistan, la façon dont la presse pakistanaise, indienne et américaine présente et couvre la guerre contre le terrorisme au Pakistan, ce qui permet également de connaître la politique du gouvernement concerné. Cette étude analyse également dans quelle mesure la presse écrite pakistanaise, indienne et américaine a suivi ses lignes directrices en matière de politique étrangère dans la couverture de la guerre contre le terrorisme.
