Niniejsze badanie ma na celu ustalenie wpływu i skuteczności ustnego wielokrotnego czytania (RR) na płynność czytania ustnego w środowisku EFL na Tajwanie. Poprzez stymulowanie szybkości i automatyzmu czytania ustnego, RR okazał się skuteczną metodą poprawy zarówno płynności czytania ustnego, jak i mówienia. Wyniki wskazały, że nastąpiła znacząca poprawa szybkości czytania ustnego przed i po interwencji, niezależnie od następujących czynników: (a) płeć, (b) język ojczysty, (c) czas używania/uczenia się języka angielskiego w czasie wolnym od treningu oraz (d) wyniki uzyskane przed testem i (e) poprawa uzyskana podczas ćwiczeń. Odpowiedzi z kwestionariuszy post-testowych również wskazywały na wysoką akceptowalność RR wśród badanych grup. W związku z tym zalecono przyjęcie RR do rozwoju automatyzmu i treningu szybkości w nauczaniu płynności mówienia w przyszłości na Tajwanie.
