Le fratture dell’estremità superiore del femore sono un problema frequente a livello mondiale nei pazienti anziani, che spesso sono multitartari. L’anestesia spinale è spesso la tecnica anestetica utilizzata in assenza di controindicazioni, il più delle volte in posizione seduta, che è fonte di dolore intenso per il paziente e può scompensare per un difetto sottostante. Il blocco femorale e il blocco della fascia iliaca sono le tecniche di analgesia loco-regionale più comunemente utilizzate prima del posizionamento per l’anestesia spinale. Il blocco PENG è una nuova tecnica analgesica descritta da Giron-Argano nel 2018.Lo scopo di questo studio è confrontare l’efficacia e la sicurezza del blocco PENG guidato da ultrasuoni rispetto al blocco della fascia iliaca soprainguinale guidato da ultrasuoni per l’analgesia durante il posizionamento per l’anestesia spinale.
