Welche politischen Konflikte entstehen im Unterricht? Gibt es Unterrichtsformate, die die Entwicklung politischer Konflikte begünstigen oder diese verhindern können? In der Untersuchung von Interaktionsprozessen von Schülerinnen und Schülern in politischen Konflikten werden anhand der dokumentarischen Methode Kommunikationsmuster rekonstruiert. Über diesen Entwurf eines qualitativ-empirischen Zugangs zu verschiedenen Unterrichtsformaten - fragend-entwickelnder Unterricht und handlungsorientierte Unterricht - ergibt sich die Modellierung eines Stufenmodells politisch-demokratischer Konfliktkompetenz.
