L’utilisation de condensateurs fixes (FC) en connexion shunt est l’une des méthodes les plus courantes pour améliorer la qualité de l’énergie des systèmes de distribution. L’utilisation de condensateurs fixes (FC) en connexion shunt est l’une des méthodes courantes pour améliorer la qualité de l’énergie des systèmes de distribution. Dans cet article, unenouvelle technique d’optimisation appelée Ant lion optimizer (ALO) est utilisée pour déterminer lacapacité optimale de VARs générés et les emplacements des FCs.Lesfonctions objectives sont adoptées pour minimiser la perte totale de puissance de distributionet améliorer le profil de tension.et d’améliorer le profil de tension. L’ALO est appliqué à dessystèmes de distribution radiale (RDS) de moyenne et grande échelletels que les systèmes de test IEEE 33-bus et 69-bus. Lesrésultats numériques montrent que l’optimiseur Ant lion (ALO) offre des solutions optimalesmeilleures que de nombreux autres algorithmes heuristiques.
