Jim was angry all the time. I assumed I was the cause. After working together 34 blessed years, Jim as a dentist and I his dental hygienist, he was desperate to retire and assumed I knew the cause of his fear and anxiety. While Jim remained professional and kind to his patients, his anger was directed towards me. In the midst of this, I went to the Lord. Through God’s Holy Word, the help of a Christian Psychologist, my physician, and a faithful prayer partner, I came out of my dark valley. I discovered that life is not about me but all about God and His unfailing love. During the 12 years of Jim’s debilitating disease, I received grace upon grace to move through it with love and joy.
