'Humanities and Healing: The Art and the Science' was the theme of the 185th Anniversary meeting of the Philosophical Society of Texas. President Francisco G. Cigarroa, M.D. organized the program. Speakers and performers from the fields of medicine, humanities, the arts, and the nation’s largest foundations discussed the intersection of health, the practice of medicine, and education in the arts and humanities. The meeting was held at the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center in Austin, Texas.
