Le bruit est un facteur essentiel qui diminue la qualité des vacances et contribue ainsi à réduire la satisfaction globale d’un séjour. La partie empirique de ce travail examine dans quelle mesure cela s’applique au séjour, en se limitant à la chambre. Une attention particulière est également accordée à l’importance du bruit par rapport à d’autres facteurs potentiellement négatifs. Dans un premier temps, nous examinerons les autres facteurs perturbateurs qui peuvent apparaître ou être présents dans une chambre d’un établissement d’hébergement, les principaux types de bruit, les dispositions légales en la matière et les effets du bruit sur l’être humain. Les résultats de ce travail montrent les aspects auxquels les clients accordent de l’importance dans leur chambre, en tenant particulièrement compte du facteur bruit.
