Cette recherche est une monographie présentée au département des soins infirmiers de l’université de l’État du Mato Grosso, campus de Cáceres. L’objectif de l’étude était d’évaluer s’il existe une relation entre le niveau d’activité physique (PAL) et la qualité de vie (QOL) des personnes âgées hypertendues. Les résultats obtenus suggèrent que le niveau d’activité physique est lié à une meilleure qualité de vie pour les patients âgés hypertendus. Ces données soulignent la nécessité pour les professionnels de la santé de promouvoir, d’encourager et de conseiller l’activité physique chez les patients âgés hypertendus, en particulier les femmes, afin qu’ils comprennent l’importance de la pratique d’une activité physique pour leur santé et l’amélioration de leur qualité de vie.
