Education is the foundation for success in life and should take top priority. There are a number of pathways to success. However, the emphasis in this book is education. Education demands an investment of time, energy, and sometimes money. This investment has the potential of providing the student with a richer and more enjoyable life. The investment consists of a mutual commitment between teacher, parent and student. The rewards are: a) academic achievement, b) self-satisfaction, c) academic achievement, b) self-satisfaction, c) adequate income, d) happiness, and e) a good standard of living.
