Der Partizipationsgedanke gehört von jeher zu den zentralen Themen pädagogischer Arbeit. Von einer ausgeprägten Partizipationskultur in der Ganztagsschule kann allerdings kaum gesprochen werden. Vor diesem Hintergrund wird das Modell der demokratischen Partizipation um das Modell der pädagogischen Partizipation erweitert und auf die besonderen Bedingungen von Bewegungs-, Spiel- und Sportangeboten in offenen Ganztagsgrundschulen bezogen. In einer qualitativen Untersuchung konnten spezifische Rahmenbedingungen und konkrete ‚Orte’ der Partizipationsförderung identifiziert werden. Die empirischen Ergebnisse beschreiben ein breites, situationsbezogenes Spektrum der Partizipationsförderung zwischen Fremd-, Mit- und Selbstbestimmung.
