Eine neuartige Aufgabe zur Tastenanschlagsequenzierung wird in einer Studie zum Beobachtungslernen und den damit verbundenen Aspekten der Beobachtung eingesetzt. Während des physischen Übens stehen dem Lernenden implizite und explizite Lernsysteme zur Verfügung. Beim physischen Üben einer Fertigkeit werden sowohl relative als auch absolute Merkmale der Bewegung erfasst. Die aktuelle Arbeit untersucht, ob solche Bewegungen und der Erwerb von Fertigkeiten durch Beobachtung erlernt werden können. Unsere Studie kommt zu dem Ergebnis, dass explizite Aspekte des Lernens durch Beobachtungslernen erworben werden können. Darüber hinaus liefert die Beobachtung eine kodierte Spur des Fertigkeitserwerbs, jedoch ist es die physische Übung, die erforderlich ist, um den parallelen Prozess des Fertigkeitserwerbs und des Lernens zu unterstützen.
