Diese Arbeit soll dazu beitragen das wirkliche Ausmaß und die Gründe und Ursachen für die noch immer vorhandenen wirtschaftlichen Unterschiede darzustellen. Hierdurch sollen eventuell vorhandene Vorurteile abgebaut werden und eine ehrliche Diskussion des Themas ermöglicht werden. Abschließend wird die Förderung von 'Clustern' bzw. 'Ökonomischen Entwicklungskernen' als Lösungsweg dargestellt und analysiert.
