A psicologia da moda e o vestuário empresarial são os novos domínios de investigação. Basicamente, a escolha do vestuário desempenha um papel vital na personalidade. Este estudo de investigação específico foi realizado num total de 42 participantes na cidade de Bangalore, na Índia. Foram visados indivíduos dos sectores dos meios de comunicação social, da educação e da gestão. Foi realizado um pequeno inquérito em que os participantes receberam três imagens (Casual/Semi-Formal/Business-Formal) e cinco factores psicológicos: Confiança, Auto-Estima, Auto-Identidade, Motivação e Liderança. Tinham de classificar a sua ordem de preferência. Através de uma análise aprofundada, foi também possível compreender o significado do termo 'Power Dressing'.
