No mundo atual da tecnologia, a Internet desempenha um papel vital na vida dos estudantes. Os estudantes utilizam a Internet para diferentes objectivos. Utilizam a Internet para comunicar com amigos, familiares ou professores. A Internet ajuda-os a preparar diferentes projectos, trabalhos e apresentações e, sobretudo, a adquirir conhecimentos a partir de diferentes fontes disponíveis na Internet. Por vezes, utilizam esta facilidade para entretenimento, como ver um filme, jogar um jogo em linha ou conversar num sítio de rede social. Neste projeto de investigação, a nossa tarefa é compreender os efeitos das redes sociais na saúde física e psicológica dos estudantes. Também descobrimos de que forma as redes sociais têm impacto nos estudos académicos dos estudantes. Por último, debatemos a forma como os jovens se comprometem com os seus dados pessoais e privados.
