The seeds for this book were sown as daily devotional texts for my boys and a few of their friends, fondly known as the 'young men.' Once a week, I’d include a simple, old-school sketch-hand-drawn with ink pens and Sharpie markers. Over time, the audience for these weekly texts and drawings grew to include friends and family.Text by text, drawing by drawing, this book was born. The devotionals spring from curiosity and a deep desire to understand the unique fingerprint of our Creator-revealed through Scripture, creation, and the everyday moments that shape us.One Thirty Three One is a collection of 133 drawings and paintings, and one testimony, inspired by Psalm 133:1 (ESV):'How good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity.'This verse holds a sacred place in our hearts. In 2022, we lost our eldest son in a river accident. Though the pain is deep, Psalm 133:1 reminds us of the promise of heaven - a place where we will once again be reunited and fully understand just how good and pleasant it is to dwell in unity. This book is for the young, the old, and everyone in between. Whether you’re full of faith, full of questions, or somewhere in between, may these pages help you rediscover childlike wonder and stir your heart toward something greater.
